The Sandwich Neighbourhood Area was designated in July 2013.

The initial application by Sandwich Town Council to designate the whole of the Town Council's Parish as a Neighbourhood Area was refused and another Neighbourhood Area was designated instead. The reasons for this decision are set out in the Decision Document.

Sandwich are currently in the early stages of producing their Neighbourhood Plan and this page will be updated as their Plan progresses.
