Public consultation on new conservation area appraisals

New appraisals for consultation

Comments are being sought on two Draft Character Appraisals for Deal.  The appraisals have been carried out by the Deal Society in conjunction with the Council. The draft appraisals identify what features make a positive or negative contribution to the special character of the conservation areas; it also reviews the boundary of the conservation areas, and makes recommendations for their future enhancement.

The consultation runs for a period of six weeks from 7th August until 18th September inclusive.  A copy will be available in the library on Broad Street, Deal and by following the links below.  You can submit you comments by post to the district council offices for the attention of Regeneration Delivery or via email on regenerationdelivery@dover.gov.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
