There are two ways to apply for Building Control approval

1. Planning Portal

Planning Portal is the national service for planning and building control applications, partnered with all local authorities in England.

We recommend using Planning Portal to submit your building control applications

2. Completing downloadable forms below 

• Building notice (pdf)
• Application for Building Control approval with Full Plans (pdf)
• Partnering Application (pdf)
• Building notice - electrical installations only (pdf)
• Application for a regularisation certificate (pdf)

Please complete your form and return to us by post or email to building.control@dover.gov.uk.

Upon receipt of the form we will confirm the application fee and contact you for payment. Alternatively if you have any questions please call us directly on 01304 872495.
