Community and voluntary groups across the district are being invited to apply for funding of between £5k and £10k for projects to help bring communities together – following Government funding to support community cohesion and resilience work.
This follows news that DDC has been awarded £57k from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to help groups to deliver projects that build community relationships and connections, and work to promote resilience.
The Community Cohesion and Resilience Fund is to support projects working to bring communities together and reduce division.
Applications are welcomed from charities, community interest companies (CICs), faith groups and constituted community groups that are based in Dover District or are seeking a grant to support activities that will benefit a community within Dover District.
The fund is now open, and the deadline for application is 1pm on Wednesday 26 February 2025. For more information, or to apply, please see the DDC community pages at www.dover.gov.uk/CCRF
