Public engagement on proposed new Dover Creative Centre

Local residents and businesses are invited to view and comment on proposals for the Dover Creative Centre to be built in Bench Street.

The drop-in event will take place at St Mary’s Parish Centre, Dover on Tuesday 28 February from 1pm to 5pm. DDC staff from the Place, Growth and Investment team will be in attendance, together with the project’s architects.

If you cannot attend this session, the proposals will also be shared on the Council’s website at www.dover.gov.uk/Creative Centre Project accompanied by a short survey for residents to share their views (this will be available online from 28 February).

Enhancing Dover’s cultural and creative offer and better connecting the high street and waterfront lie at the heart of a successful £3.2m bid by Dover District Council (DDC) to the Government’s Future High Streets Fund. DDC’s Town Centre Regeneration Fund is also pledging £1.7m to the project.
