The Dover District Lotto is raising over £47,000 a year and providing a much need fundraising boost for 126 local good causes across the Dover district.
Launched in 2019, the Dover District Lotto has proved to be a highly effective way for local good causes to continue their fundraising in a safe and contactless way throughout the pandemic.
Local good causes, including registered charities and constituted voluntary and community groups can fundraise with the Dover District Lotto. There is no cost to the good cause and they also benefit from access to a wide range of resources and marketing materials to help with their fundraising.
Over 780 people play the online lottery every week with 60% of proceeds going direct to local causes in the district. The top prize for players is £25,000.

“The Dover District Lotto has provided a lifeline for many local voluntary and community groups, providing them with a regular revenue.
“It’s also a great way for people to continue to support local good causes and to help them through this difficult time.”
