Consultation on Plans for a Puffin Crossing on Alkham Road
Funded proposal to improve pedestrian connectivity between Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens
Kent County Council is proposing to install a puffin crossing on Alkham Road between Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens. A consultation on the proposals has been launched today (30 May) and will be open for comments until 24 June 2019.
Funding for the proposed pedestrian crossing has been secured from government funding via Kent County Council’s Local Transport Plan. The scheme is proposed to be implemented in the current financial year.
