A new Lok’nStore self-storage facility for householders and businesses is all set for a Christmas opening on the White Cliffs Business Park in Whitfield.  The new investment comes as a direct result of Dover District Council showcasing at the MIPIM UK exhibition at London Olympia in 2016.

Storage units are available in a wide range of sizes from small lockers to mini warehouses. Users might just store a couple of suitcases and a fake Christmas tree, or the contents of a 3 bedroom house or even hundreds of pallets of goods.  The friendly Lok’nStore team are always on hand to guide customers to the right size for their needs and the prominent location and modern facilities mean it is easy for customers to store their goods safely.

Cllr Keith Morris, Leader of Dover District Council, toured the new facility with Lok‘nStore Group Sales Director, Neil Newman.  “I am delighted to see this new investment that has come about as a direct result of our work to promote the district through our Invest in Dover initiative.  The self-storage market is seeing huge growth and it’s great that homeowners and businesses have another option for self-storage in the district,” said Cllr Morris.

Neil Newman, Lok’nStore Group Sales Director, said: “We are delighted to be bringing modern self-storage to Dover.  With our bright, clean, dry and secure facility we are confident businesses and residents will be impressed by our new purpose-built site.”

The Lok’n Store facility is the final unit on the TradeMarq development that includes trade units for Action Carpets, Brewers, Eurocell, and a Subway food outlet.  Plans have recently been submitted to Dover District Council for a further mixed-use development to the east of the site, including a two-storey office, along with a trade counter and a timber production facility for a local company.
