Any information regarding the historic disabled bay in School Road Sandwich. The road markings were removed off the road in 2024. Any information you have about who decided that it could be removed.
Response
In 2023 the Council undertook a review of all disabled persons parking bays in the District. All those with a disabled persons parking bay were contacted using the last known address we hold for the applicant, to see if the bay was still received and that they still met the criteria. Where the Council received no response to the three letters that had been sent or where the criteria was no longer being met, the Council made arrangements for the bays to be removed.
