All information held about the Norsonic sound equipment device particularly a Dover District Council or Kent County Council privacy policy for the use of a Norsonic device especially around protecting the user’s privacy when the equipment is installed in their house by Dover District Council (what is disclosed and what is not disclosed about the true nature how this device works) I am seeking what DDC must inform a user of how the Norsonic device works and what they must disclose to the user to protect the users privacy. Any legal documentation, policies or regulations allowing Dover District Council or Kent County Council to record one minute prior to the button being pressed without disclosing this information to the user.

Attached is a copy of the Norsonic NOR-150 Set-up Guide, Collection and Turn-off Guide, Noise Monitor Advice Sheet (provided to recipient of the device) and Blank Evidential Sheet (provided to the recipient of the device).  The Council holds no other information about the use of the device.  Any information held by Kent County Council will need to be requested direct from them and they can be contacted at freedomofinformation@kent.gov.uk.
