Are the electoral lists (voters lists) records on computer or only on paper as paper records (or both)?

The list of voters in the Dover local authority area is only available to inspect using the Electoral Registration Officer's printed copy of the Register of Electors at our offices in Whitfield. Only the current year's register is available. Previous years may be available to view at the British Library in London – you would need to contact them directly to discover if they are available online or by paper copy only.
Electronic copies of the Register – as PDF's or CSV files – are only available to those entitled to request a copy of the Register of Electors for the checking of donations and other uses agreed in law ie registered political parties, the Electoral Commission, Credit Reference Agencies etc. The supply of the Register of Electors and restrictions on its use is covered under Part VI of the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001 (regulations 92 to 115).
