3. Verbal abuse for all reports includes officers being sworn at and threatened in some way. Physical abuse includes instances where an officer is grabbed, pushed or hit.
4. All instances of verbal or physical abuse towards officers are reported to the Police. Where the person responsible is known to the Authority, for example through a licence or tenancy they are contacted directly by a senior officer.
