Ref: 23/01363 | Construction of a solar farm with associated access and infrastructure Further to the information you kindly sent last week, can I ask to receive the information mentioned relating to:

1) Further consultation from Kent Highways mentioned in the Stantec Meeting Notes on 2nd April 2024

2) a full ALC report which has been submitted stating that it is not BMV land

3) Information surrounding and including any further discussions with Historic England, including the council's responses

4) any of the applicant's responses relating to Heritage concerns

5) any discussions relating to the impact of UNESCO World Heritage Site application and its impact on this application

6) Finally, can I request all details relating to the applicant's requirement to perform investigations, including trenching, EM surveys and ERT surveys.

Response

1) All correspondence with KCC Highways can be found in the attached document.  The formal consultation response from KCC is available to view on the planning portal on the Council's website. 

2) All the information held by the Council on this is available to view on the planning portal on the Council’s website; see particularly the documents published on 30 November 2023, including those relating to agricultural land classification and agricultural land quality and land-use considerations. 

3) All correspondence with Historic England is attached and their formal consultation response is available to view on the planning portal on the Council’s website. A Microsoft Teams meeting took place on 21 March 2024 between Historic England Officers, the applicant's consultants and the Council’s Principal and Senior Heritage Officers and the Principal Planning Officer. The Council does not hold any minutes of the meeting. The applicant's consultants and Historic England discussed the Historic England consultation response, pre-application advice sought by the agents from Historic England, the consultant's heritage assessment and the significance of historic features. An internal meeting to discuss Historic England's consultation response was held on Wednesday 20 March 2024 between the Principal Planning Officer, the Principal Heritage Officer and the Senior Heritage Officer; no minutes are held.
