Request

1.      From January 1 2020 until the present date (September 9), how many appeals at the Planning Inspectorate has the council lost after councillors voted against officer’s recommendations at the planning committee? 

2.      Please break this down into individual applications/appeals, and for each provide:

a. The council’s planning reference number for the appeal

b. The Inspectorate’s reference number for the appeal 

c. The date of the planning committee decision which resulted in the appeal 

d. The date of the inspectorate decision 

e. The total cost to the council of defending the appeal – broken down into direct spend by the council, and costs awarded by the Inspector which the council has had to pay (ie legal costs of developers/appellants, and so on.)
