Request

We are instructed to request a copy of all internal emails, meeting notes and Officer notes made by any officer of the local planning authority that has not been disclosed to external parties and/or posted on the Council’s website, in addition to a copy of the video recording of the Planning Committee held at Dover District Council Offices on Thursday 11th July 2024 in relation to agenda item number 6 (Eastling Down Farm) only (to the point that the next item, agenda item 7, is announced). This latter request is made in the knowledge that Dover District Council’s YouTube channel advises that videos can be made available provided that a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 is made.

Response

I can confirm that the Council has dealt with your request under the Environment Information Regulations 2004 (EIRs) and we have completed the search for the information that you requested. The information you have sought is attached.

Some information on the attached documents has been redacted as it is considered personal data. Personal data is exempt from disclosure under Regulations 5(3) and 13 of the EIRs as the Council considers the names and contact details of individual members of staff and that of third parties to be personal data. The names of staff working in public authorities and that of third parties are personal data as defined by Article 4(1) of GDPR and also Section 3 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the release of this data would contravene the data protection principles.

The recording of the Planning Committee meeting of 11 July 2024 is too large to be emailed. I will separately share a folder with you so you can access the file. Please let me know when you have downloaded a copy of the recording.
