  1. Can you confirm that the council holds up-to-date records of the following for each  financial year from 2008/09 to 2021/22:
    1. financial contributions received in relation to Section 106 agreements and the related planning permission reference;
    2. the date that financial contributions were received by the council;
    3. how or on which projects or works Section 106 contributions have been spent or committed.
  2. Can you confirm the name of the dataset or spreadsheet in which this information is held?
  3. Can you provide a copy of this dataset?

The information you have sought is available on the Council’s website as part of the published Infrastructure Funding Statements at https://www.dover.gov.uk/Planning/Planning-Policy/Infrastructure-Delivery-and-S106-Obligations/Home.aspx

The Council does hold the information for the period from 2008/09 to 2018/19, however it is not readily available and from our preliminary assessment, we have estimated that the cost of fully complying with your request would exceed the ‘appropriate limit’.   The appropriate limit has been specified in regulations and for Local Government it is set at £450. This represents the estimated cost of one person spending 2½ working days in determining whether the information is held, locating, retrieving and extracting the data. I regret therefore, that on this occasion I must refuse your request for the data between 2008/09 and 2018/19 in accordance with Section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act.
