How many refugee/asylum seekerhouseholds presented to the local authority as homeless in October, November and December 2023 providing the reason for homelessness as “Required to leave accommodation provided by Home Office as asylum support”. Of these how many were owed:

(a) October 2023 – 3*, November 2023 – 3*, December 2023 – 0. *Please note that these were not ‘homeless approaches’ in the normal way. We have recently leased a number of houses from the MOD for Afghan families and these families came from bridging hotels provided by the Home Office.
