1. How much has the council spent on sport and leisure services and facilities between 2018 and 2023? This includes: Leisure centres, parks, grass pitches, all publicly accessible swimming pools, health and fitness facilities and sports halls.  Please provide a figure of how much was spent for each year in the five-year period.
2. How many sport and leisure facilities operated by the council have closed between 2018 and 2023?  Please provide the number of closures for each year in the five-year period?

Response

1. It is not possible to separate out all the costs relating to solely parks or grass pitches. Therefore, the figures provided include the total expenditure for all Parks and Open Spaces for the previous 5 financial years.
