How the Process Works
After you have submitted your event notification form and supporting documents:
- Your submitted application will be shared with members of the Event Safety Advisory Group (ESAG) who will review your event and provide their comments.
- We will contact you with advice on health, safety and welfare at your event so that you can make adjustments where necessary to your paperwork.
- As an event organiser you may be required to attend a meeting with the ESAG.
If your Event is on DDC Land
- We will check that the venue you wish to hire is available
- We will check that you have agreed to our conditions of hire
- We will email you an invoice which you can pay online
- You will be issued with a 'Permission to Occupy' letter by email
