Skills & Jobs Fairs 

In partnership with the Department of Work & Pensions, Dover District Council is committed to providing Jobs Fairs across the district to showcase the wide range of jobs and training opportunities on offer. Below is a list of past and upcoming events. 

  • Love to Care Jobs Fair - LDC Care Dover - 10am-2pm - 14th Febuary 2024 
  • Dover's Big Skills & Jobs Fair - Dover Cruse Terminal - 10am-2.30pm - 12th October 2023 
  • Deal Skills & Jobs Fair - Landmark Centre - 12pm-4pm - 14th March 2023 
  • Aylesham Advance To Work Jobs Fair - Aylesham workshop Trust - 10am-1pm - 1st December 2022
  • Dover's Big Skills & Jobs Fair - Dover Cruse Terminal - 10am-3pm - 18th October 2022

Current Projects 

Roots 2 Work

(August 2023 - August 2024) 

The Roots 2 Work project is a free unique programme that provided support to people aged 50+ who live within the Dover District and are looking for employment and/or support and advice to increase their employability and skills. The scheme launched in August 2023, and will be running for one year.

Dover Job Centre Plus 

At the Job Centre, you can find your local job centre offices in and around the Dover Distrcit. Your local job centre can administer claims Jobseeker's Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance and Income Support.
