Chewing Gum and Cigarette Butt Bins in Dover Market Square
As part of ongoing work to keep the district clean and tidy for
all who live, work and visit here, special cigarette and gum bins
have been placed in Dover Market Square. Dover District Council has
installed the three double-sided bins as part of its work to
continue to improve the local environment, or ‘street scene’,
across the area.
Cllr Collor, Cabinet Member for Access and Property Management
said: “We continue to listen to our communities, and following a
number of requests, we are very pleased to trial these dedicated
cigarette butt and chewing gum bins in Dover Town Centre. We
continue to work hard to further improve our street scenes for the
future of the district.”
