St Radigunds Play Area
St Radigunds Play Area, which is situated in the grounds of Triangles Community Centre in Poulton Close, Dover was opened during a community event in May 2018 following extensive groundworks and a £110k investment. New equipment includes basket and toddler swings,multi play units including sliding and climbing features, spinning wheel roundabouts, and a range of other items. Some fitness equipment suitable for all ages and abilities was also installed next to the play facility.
The new equipment follows consultation undertaken by Dover District Council to find out what type of facilities the community wanted, and follow up surveys on design options.
These play zone works complement a range of improvements that have taken place in the district, including the recent openings of new look play facilities at William Pitt Avenue and Wilson Avenue in Deal, as well as a brand new facility at North Deal Recreation Field in 2016.
