Local Development Framework
The Local Development Framework is a number of local
development documents that outlines how planning will be managed in
the District. These documents are:
- Core Strategy
Adopted on 24 February 2010 this is the principal document in the
LDF. It contains the Council’s overall ambitions and
priorities for the District and will be used to decide
what the District should be like in 2026.
- Site Allocations Document
The Site Allocations Document is in conformity with the Core
Strategy. It is used to identify site specific allocations and
designation in Dover, Deal, Sandwich and the rural area that will
be required to deliver the vision set out in the Core
