Budget and Medium Term Financial
Plan
Every year, all local authorities have to set a budget for the
following year. This is an essential part of financial management
and of setting the Council Tax. We also produce a “Medium Term
Financial Plan” (MTFP) that sets out our financial plans for the
following 3 years.
Corporate Plan
Our top priority, working with partners, is to regenerate our
district in a sustainable way that gives our residents a
world-class future. Releasing our district’s potential will need to
be built on innovative service delivery so that we continue to
strive for excellence. This Plan is outward looking and sums up our
vision and ambitions and will drive our internal service plans. To
achieve our vision, we will work hard with partners to meet some
really stretching targets under the following key themes, to take
us to 2020.
