Funding for local community projects
Small Community Capital Projects 2010-11: Closing
date 27 August 2010*
Kent County Council and Dover District Council have
allocated £61,400 to the five Dover District Neighbourhood Forums
to award small capital grants for community projects.
Small Capital grants of up to
£2,500 are available to all types of organisations
and groups across the district and an
application pack (MS Word) is now available. Whilst
there is no minimum amount we would prefer not to receive requests
for less than £250, because the cost of processing these will
usually be more than the value of the grant.
All grants from the Small Community
Capital Projects Fund are one-off and for one year only
and must show benefit to the community.
Kent County Council is administering the Small Community Capital
Projects grant for the Dover District Neighbourhood Forums. Please
contact KCC Community Engagement Manager Anne Charman for
advice on who can, and how to, apply for grant funding and to
discuss any project you would like support for. Please see contact
details below.
The closing date for applications is Friday
27 August 2010 - but please try to send your
application forms in to Anne as soon as possible.
*Deadline Extended: Deal & Walmer and Sandwich Area
Neighbourhood Forums
As of Friday 27 August 2010, applications for the Small
